The Folk Legacy Trio Comes to Public Television

The Will Rogers Stage Foundation is proud to announce that The Folk Legacy Trio, recorded at Will Rogers Auditorium on April 14, 2024, has been accepted by the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA), our conduit to PBS.

Beginning September 1, 2026, the one-hour program is offered royalty free to PBS member stations and affiliates across the country, with broadcast rights running through August 31, 2031. The concert features songs from The Weavers, The Kingston Trio, The Limeliters, Peter, Paul & Mary, The New Christy Minstrels, The Brothers Four, The Chad Mitchell Trio, Tom Paxton, Judy Collins, Joan Baez, Gordon Lightfoot, Simon & Garfunkel, John Denver and many others.

You can help bring the concert to your community

Acceptance by NETA makes the program available to stations — it does not schedule it. Each station chooses its own programming, so The Folk Legacy Trio will only air where a local affiliate selects it.

Please contact your local PBS station and ask them to carry the program. A request from a local viewer carries real weight in a station’s programming decisions. You can find your station at pbs.org/stations.
